  10. The Very Best - Super Mom Mixtape

Love to all the mothers in the world!

The Very Best just dropped their latest mixtape on today’s mother’s day - for all those Super Moms around the globe. The tape is fully loaded with new productions and previews of the forthcoming album, not to speak of, well, hilarious combinations (Billy Idol??!!!).

First and foremost: with lots of the tracks the pace has changed to a harder bouncing, clubby sound. Outstanding for me so far: “Ndekha”, a combination with Secousse London’s Moroka that already premiered in Sinden’s radio show and most likely will be a dancefloor filler for the summer month. Same direction: “Miracle”, featuring Baaba Maal and the awesome, wobbling “Africa to California Anthem” with Rusko, African Boy and Vocal Slender.

Get the tape for free here, give it to your Super Mom, dance in the morning light, smile! Btw. my Mama is a Super Mom and she always loved every “The Very Best”-tape I gave her ;)

Further: The Very Best is also teaming up with “Invisible Children”, an organisation using film, creativity and social action to end the use of child soldier’s in the civil war in DR Congo (and Uganda and Sudan). They are doing a special T-shirt together and all the profits are going straight to Invisible Children
